About the Matrix of Fate
The Matrix of Fate, best known as the Web of Wyrd or Skuld’s Net, is a modern symbol (or at least there aren’t any pieces of evidence of its Viking origin for now) based on the Norse notion of destiny. In Norse mythology, the fate is built by the Norns, a group of three women that weave the past, present and future.
If you have a close look at this Matrix, you will see each of the runes too.
What is an offering bowl?
An offering bowl is used as part of an altar to hold different offerings to a chosen deity (for example herbs, crystals, coins…) If you don’t worship any gods or goddesses, this bowl can also be used as a way to keep little trinkets, jewellery or simply as a decorative piece in your space.
Check out our other Web of Wyrd products, now available as a tapestry or as a poster! We also have other offering bowls to choose from, click here to see all of them.
Care Instructions
The bowl has been treated with varnish, but please don’t put liquids in it, as they can stain the wood. Keep it in a dry place, preferably out of direct sunlight and clean with a dry cloth.
